Aaron Coonan

After joining Galpins in February 2004, Aaron completed his Bachelor of Commerce and become a Chartered Accountant.

Based across the Stirling and Norwood offices, he provides a variety of taxation services across different industries including professionals, building and construction, retail, primary production and is able to assist individuals through to larger business and companies.

Aaron takes pride in producing accurate and relevant information, and being experienced in multiple accounting software packages. He is particularly skilled at helping clients streamline their accounting processes and improve their recordkeeping systems.

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending time with his wife and four young children.

Claire Porker
Accountant

Claire joined Galpins in 2000 as a receptionist in the Mount Gambier office. She moved into an administration role managing debtors, assisting with ASIC compliance and undertaking all administration duties.

She completed her Bachelor of Commerce in 2014 while working part time in the Norwood office and managing all financial obligations of her partner's small business.

Currently she works part time in tax at the Stirling office and cares for her two young children.

Elise Jaeschke 
Accountant

Elise started at Galpins in July 2014 as an accountant. She is currently studying for a Masters of Business Administration through The University of Adelaide. Elise is also one of our Certified Xero Advisors.

Outside of work, Elise is a partner in a small farming business in the South East. Growing up on a farm near Keith, South Australia and her experience with her own farm, Elise has extensive knowledge in the primary production industry.

Lucy Filmer
Administration Assistant

Lucy joined Galpins mid-2017 and currently works part time in an administrative role at our Stirling office. Lucy has more than 12 years' experience in a mid-tier accounting firm, engaging in roles within the internal finance team as well as in reception and office administration. Lucy grew up around the Adelaide Hills region and has previously worked in administrative services for an Adelaide Hills winery.

Outside of work, Lucy has two young children and enjoys spending time with them as she navigates a healthy work life balance.
